After the operation of the ultra-pure water equipment for a period of time, the internal waterway of the EDI module may be blocked, which is mainly due to the fact that there are many solutes in the EDI water inlet and the formation of salt precipitation in the concentrated water chamber.In this case, we can clean the EDI module by means of EDI chemical cleaning, and then carry out EDI regeneration to restore the original technical characteristics.So how can the ultra-pure water equipment regenerate EDI module?

There are two cases for EDI regeneration, one is the standard case and the other is the special case.

A, standards,

1. Confirm that there is no chemical residue in EDI module;

2. The system is built into a closed self-circulation pipeline;

3, according to the normal operation of the mode to adjust all the flow and pressure;

4. Send power to EDI. Adjust the current from 2A and slowly load current to EDI (the maximum can not exceed 4A);

5, until the water resistivity of technological requirements to 18 m Ω or >.

2. Special circumstances

1. The self-circulation pipeline system built in the system can be recycled according to the following steps;

3. Adjust each flow valve according to 70% of the normal flow of the system;

4. Each pressure and pressure difference shall be adjusted according to the operating regulations;

5. Send power to EDI. Adjust the current from 2A and slowly load the current to EDI step by step (the maximum can not exceed 4A);

6, until the water resistivity technological requirements to 18 m Ω or >;

EDI module regeneration is a long time, sometimes 10-24 hours or even longer.So do it in advance if you need to.
